Antonio Spanò

Director, Cinematographer, Producer, Editor

After graduating from the University of Siena, Antonio decided to leave a career in law behind in order to pursue his love for documentary filmmaking. His first experience as an independent filmmaker was in Kurdistan, Iraq when he was 22 years old.

His previous films The Silent Chaos and Animal Park both set in Congo, won many awards in 2013-2014. Both films are a Journeyman Pictures exclusive international distribution and have been broadcasted in many countries around the world.

Antonio currently works as a freelance camera operator and has traveled to Afghanistan, Libya and Haiti working for TV productions (RAI, MTV), reportages and film productions.


Animal Park, short (director, editor), 2014

A documentary about Virunga, the most ancient and important African national park. The film is been screened in various international film festivals and was selected for the “DAVID DI DONATELLO 2014.” Animal Park is the most awarded italian documentary produced in 2014.

The Silent Chaos (director, editor), 2013

A documentary set in Congo, North Kivu, about Congolese society and the relentless civil warthat has been going on since the 1990s. It’s currently taking part in various international film festivals and has been selected for the “DAVID DI DONATELLO 2013.” The Silent Chaos is one of the most awarded italian documentary produced in 2013.

Our Sky, Our Land (director), 2010

A documentary about the kurdish genocide perpetrated by the Saddam Hussein's regime. It was selected for many international festivals and awarded with the prizeUnicef for the Peace 2010.

Giacomo Spanò

Writer, Producer

Giacomo comes from a music and film studies background and works in the film industry. He started collaborating with Office Number Four during production of The Silent Chaos. In the summer of 2014 he traveled with director Antonio Spanò to Butembo, Congo and oversaw filming of Inner Me as the screenwriter and producer.

John Donnelly


John is originally from Dublin, Ireland, and for the past 10 years has been living in Barcelona. John works in the film industry operating cinemas across Europe. He started playing the guitar at age 11 and has played in several bands in Ireland over the past 30 years. He has been involved in composing music for films initially working with a film school in his native Dublin.
